Mr. X, a 45-year-old bank manager, has a family history of Alzheimer’s and cardiovascular disease. His 69-year-old mother has early Alzheimer’s disease and his father died at age 55 years of a myocardial infarction. In addition, his 48-year-old brother was recently diagnosed with colorectal cancer.
